The previously know echo is being replaced this next year with the all new Yaris Toyota. The Toyota Yaris review or I should rather say Toyota Yaris reviews thus far show the Yaris as accomplishing one main feat - economy. The 2007 Toyota Yaris will undoubtedly be reliable and economical which is what the basis review of Toyota Yaris suggests thus far; but this writer is not satisfied with such praise. I want to know what the new Toyota Yaris really is all about. I want to know if years down the line when I am driving a used Toyota Yaris if I will still be a happy customer or board out of my gourd with its performance.
Let me tell you right now folks; it is the performance aspect of the Yaris that truly frightens me the most. I have seen numbers in the low 100’s that make me cringe as visions of having to get out and help push it up a mountainside while Aunt Betsy is behind the wheel with the petal slammed to the metal in first gear. But this is admittedly the main problem with the Yaris I foresee; no other Toyota Yaris faults really stand out to me as of yet, nor any other reviewer that I have seen thus far. But to really get to know a car, one has to scrap through the details of Toyota Yaris; looking through each Toyota Yaris part as if we were trying to figure out how to build one ourselves.
So without further a due I bring you my review of Toyota Yaris from A to B. The Toyota Yaris is not a particularly stunning looking vehicle, but it is neither bad either. Slightly unimaginative in areas, but if practicality is what you are after then the Yaris just screams of it. It will be both offered as a Toyota Yaris sedan and hatchback, and both feature the same 106 horsepower front-wheel drive engine. The interior is set to get jazzed a little bit to make up for the plain exterior. But at first view I do not see anything out of the ordinary from any other cars out on the market today, so don’t get yourself too excited.
As a positive note, the Yaris will definitely be very affordable to almost anyone, and I am talking under 13 thousand affordable which is quite impressive for a car that may not thrill you, but will definitely not leave you stranded on the side of a road in the middle of a desert either. The gas mileage on the Yaris is just plain awesome as well; we are talking upwards of 40 mpg possible, which is definitely considered great by most any standards of today. So the Yaris will not cost you an arm and a leg to buy, drive, and maintain; which as I said before just oozes with practicality everywhere.
In fact, the only Toyota Yaris accessory I see the necessity for if you plan to jump on the bandwagon is a pair of really good sneakers. Why you say? Well, you may have to Flintstone it up a few steep mountainside road trips, and you will want to be prepared. 106 horsepower is not a lot of power for today’s standards. If that will not bother you in the least then I crown you king or queen of practicality and I wish you the happiest of driving in your new Toyota Yaris!
